The age of ignoring China is over.

For a long time, many Western leaders treated China as a market they could safely ignore unless they were selling there, sourcing there, or directly competing there. That was always shortsighted. Today, it is dangerous.

China is no longer just "over there." It is arriving through electric vehicles, AI models, e-commerce platforms, consumer brands, supply chains, infrastructure, industrial policy, retail formats, payment systems and geopolitical decisions.
